Edit: Ok, im getting good results with this deck atm. Better than expected. Ive beaten Zoo, Goblins, CB Top and a lot of random stuff. Ive changed a few cards after reading through the old thread.
Lands:
1 Island
3 Forest
4 Misty Rainforest
4 Windswept Heath
4 Tropical Island
2 Gaea's Cradle
I definatly want to stick with 2 colors. I was thinking about adding white for Tutor Effects, but itll reduce consitency i think. 18 Lands is the lowest count you want, since you absolutely need 2 lands to start drawing cards with your creature base. Maybe im going back to 19
Wincon:
1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
I dont think there is a better wincondition for this deck.
Drawengine:
4 Carven Caryatid
4 Jungle Barrier
4 Wall of Blossoms - well the walls are all pretty good against aggrodecks
4 Coiling Oracle - this guy is really good, helps you ramping mana and midcombo gives you free mana for glimpse and such
4 Mulldrifter - ok, this guy is nuts with fc
4 Multani's Acolyte
4 Elvish Visionary
Tutoring
2 Intuition - i rarely use them, maybe ill replace them with raven familar
1 Crop Rotation - sometimes its nice to get a cradle
Engine
4 Food Chain
4 Glimpse of Nature - after resolving a glimpse your chances to fizzle are reduced to a minimum
Support
1 Fierce Empath - gets emrakul
1 Nantuko Cultivator - currently testing. might help you not to fizzle
SB: 3 Tinder Wall
SB: 4 Xantid Swarm
SB: 4 Force of Will
SB: 4 Aethersnipe
Cards that might be cool:
Ravens Familar, Teferi, Aluren

There has been a Food Chain thread somewhere in the past (http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?16412-Fast-Food-Chain&highlight=food+chain). Maybe you could get some ideas over there.
If I where to build it, I'd probably start with something like this and see where it goes (mind you, this is all theoretical and thought up in about 30 mins, don't kill me if I got something wrong):
Core
4 Food Chain
4 Academy Rector
1 Pandemonium
1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
Food for the Chain
4 Wall of Blossoms
4 Mulldrifter
4 Elvish Visionary
4 Carven Caryatid
4 Multani's Acolyte
2 Myojin of Seeing Winds
2 Fierce Empath
Protection
4 Orim's Chant
Lands
4 Ancient Tomb
1 City of Traitors
3 Savannah
4 Windswept Heath
3 Misty Rainforest
3 Forest
1 Island
3 High Market
Here is some reasoning as to why those cards:
Food Chain: Well, the deck is Food Chain, so ... You need this in play asap.
Academy Rector: Playing 8 Food Chain is a must, in my opinion, since your deck does nothing whitout it. It also fetches your backup kill condition mid chain.
Pandemonium: Your backup kill condition. You will have a lot of creatures come into play during chaining, so...
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn: Your main kill. Hardcast and win (certainly with Pandemonium in play).
Wall of Blossoms: No good with Pandemonium, but cheap and draws a card. The same is true for the next batch, but they are better with Pandemonium as well.
Elvish Visionary
Carven Caryatid
Multani's Acolyte
Mulldrifter: He's in a league of his own here, just evoke him and with the trigger on the stack, sac him to Pandemonium. He costs 3 to cast and nets you 6 + 2 cards. Not including 4 copies of him is just wrong.
Myojin of Seeing Winds: Ramping up to 10 mana is not that hard, ramping up to 15 sometimes is. That's where this guy comes in. Cast him, draw at least 3 cards and continue the combo.
Fierce Empath: This guy makes sure you get your big one when you need it, fetching either a Myojin or Emrakul out of the deck.
Orim's Chant: This might as well be Silence, but Chant has the kicker benefit, just in case. I'd rather play Force of Will, but could not get the blue count up high enough to consistently play it.
Ancient Tomb: Gets you Food Chain on 2, Rector on 3. Without it, you are just too slow.
City of Traitors
High Market: Sac the Rector card. I'd like more sac outlets (at least 6 total), but at the moment, I can't think of any good ones (besides Cabal Therapy, but that requires me to play black). Maybe I'd find place for some obscure cards, like Mask of the Mimic (which would be awesome, sacing the Rector, getting Food Chain and a new Rector to sac to Food Chain and get me Pandemonium...).
I would never play cards like Coiling Oracle/Jungle Barrier in the deck, since they require you to have 2 colors of mana to cast (and Food Chain only lets you add 1 color of mana to your pool for each creature you sacrifice). Therefor I play mostly green creatures to play of Food Chain, so I can safely start the chain by saccing for green a couple of times (and maybe sac for blue or white later in the chain, once I have drawn a creature of that color).
I also feel Glipse might be overkill, as you will combo out when you get Food Chain going. And Glimpse requires you to have that additional mana available before you start, slowing you down a whole turn.
I hope this helped a bit. I'd love to see Food Chain being broken, but I fear it is just a card that looks broken, but requires too much dedication in the rest of the deck to break. I really think it will never be on par with other combo decks like ANT/TES or even Dream Halls/Glimpse Elves. That being said, the coolness factor is really high

I think you should play phyrexian tower over high market. 2 colorless mana > 1 life.

Completely agree, switch those High Markets with Phyrexian Towers in the list.

Academy Rector:
When Academy Rector is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you may exile it. If you do, search your library for an enchantment card, put that card onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library.
Food Chain:
Exile a creature you control: Add X mana of any one color to your mana pool, where X is the exiled creature's converted mana cost plus one. Spend this mana only to cast creature spells.
you cant cus Academy Rector never goes to the graveyard when you use it on food chain.. :/ but could be awesome :D
Enlightened Tutor > Academy Rector ???

Alright, so Mask of the Mimic is out (and I certainly goofed there), but I still think the Rector has some place here.
While saying that, I do recognize the consistency of playing Enlightened Tutor (no need for sac outlet for Rector, can be played on T1 when holding Chain + sol land in hand). I suppose that should be tested, but I see benefits in both of them.

What do you think about Bloodghast and Intuition? I think keeping the deck at 2-3cmc would make it more powerful, then you could drop the Ancient Tombs and colorless sources. Unless you're using Chalice of the Void, I would try to lower the curve because only 10/22 lands could produce white for Chant, so you're not often gonna' even have a turn 1 play.

Well im not sure how this list is running but mine i doing pretty good. You can go off by chaining Cantrips and Cradles too, almost every card cantrips and I got 2 Intuition to get Food Chains.
