After:

My cards geting lost.
Another store declaring they wouldn't ship to my country.

I began searching the internet for another store to order which had the cards I wanted at a good price. I came across Top Deck Hobbies (http://topdeckhobbies.crystalcommerce.com/news/list). I wanted to know if anyone has ordered from here before and if it is trustable (aka not mtgchicago), items are in the specified conditions, they ship stuff with the adequate protection...

Thanks

The fact that they don't even have their own website means that they're likely small and not very internet-savvy. Could be a good thing or a bad thing, I guess - but I wouldn't be inclined to trust them more than any random site.

What country are you in? Why not use a dealer in your country?

I'm in Argentina. Dealers in my country are nearly non existent, they donīt have THAT much stock, they don't have cards in NM condition and their prices are not very convenient ($138 for and U. Sea is NOT a good price...).

That's difficult. Mail to south america can be very unreliable - there's a lot of fraud and incompetence in both the postal systems and on the part of receivers. A lot of eBay sellers won't ship to Brazil, for good reason - I think I have Brazil blocked.

What I would probably do if I'm ordering valuable cards is try to find a reputable dealer that will ship to Argentina and pay extra for an extra reliable shipping method like EMS (EMS in the US is USPS International Priority). EMS will add ~$30US to the cost of shipping, though.

Never had any issues with any one of them (just once T&T refused to sell me due to a strike in the Brazilian customs, but I bought from them normally some weeks later), and their prices are fair (SCG's not so much, but the condition of their cards makes up for it).

I know them, but Top Deck Hobbies has what I wan't at a low price.

The cards that never arrived (mentioned in the op) where from SCG. I bought from T&T once, there were no problems.

The problem is your country's mail service, sadly - there's no place more reliable than StarCity. Unless you pay for better shipping, any package from any dealer could disappear.

SCG has a really good service. When I buy cards (from whatever dealer or location in the world) I ask for FedEx shipping.

I suggest you to do the same.

I do most of my online shopping from fanatic. The online shop has a very local store community feel to it, as there are a lot of regulars there. Check it out its posted on my signature. Some chase rares can be hard to come about tho.

All the ones mentioned are pretty good. I like alphabetaunlimited also. They have almost exacting prices compared to what you will end up paying if you scour the net too. Troll and Toad are good priced, but you have to watch condition sometimes. They can be lax in that area. SCG are excellent, though sometimes can be higher than what you could find elsewhere. They make up for it in condition and service. MTGmintcard is another good one, especially fast on pre-orders for new sets too.
