Grindstone ad neaisium thing

I want to keep this under $300, this may be budget forum worthy, it may not, but no more than $300. You guys are the people to turn to so here it goes. This means no force of will, and no LED, and probably none of the original dual lands.

I want to try putting the grindstone/painter's combo into the TES or ANT like shell, with ad neasium as the engine to assemble most of the peices, and other tuturs and fast mana.

So far i have.....
4x grindstone
4x painter's servant
2x ad neasium
4x lotus petal
4x chrome mox


I am up for running the ravnica dual lands, im up for making this 5 color or 4 color, or how ever many colors it takes. Green is an option with land grant.
Black and white offer protection with chant and duress, or red with pyro and red elemental blast after i get painter's servant and name blue (haha)

I am game for anything, and i am willing to get gemstone mines or city of brass for access to other colors. I also know just by what i want to do this isn't going to be a turn 2 win, i am ok with that. I am very much ok with turn 4-6 just because this is supposed to be fun, and slightly competative. I want to take it to a turnament and not loose every game, but im not expecting to top 8.
So what does everyone think?

With the current list I would run:

4 Dark Ritual
4 Cabal Ritual

4 Brainstorm
4 Ponder
4 Preordain

4 Duress

That gives you 18 land slots to work with. You can figure out how you want the color mix to balance out, and sideboard based on local or expected strategies.

ok i like that. That would be much fun to try. SO go with blue and black to start with?

for a mana base i was thinking something like

4x gemstone mine
4x watery grave
4x darkslick shores

then a fecthland? some basics?
