Hi Guys
Just a quick one - how does Annihilator work against an opponent with Maze of Ith? I attack with Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and my opponent untaps it with Maze of Ith, do they still have to sac 6 permanents?
Thanks
Dave

702.83a. Annihilator is a triggered ability. "Annihilator N" means "Whenever this creature attacks, defending player sacrifices N permanents."
508. Declare Attackers Step
508.1. First, the active player declares attackers.
508.2. Second, any abilities that triggered on attackers being declared go on the stack.
508.3. Third, the active player gets priority. Players may cast spells and activate abilities.
In short: Yes. Annihilator triggers before he gets priority to activate the Maze.

Yes:
702.83. Annihilator
702.83a Annihilator is a triggered ability. "Annihilator N" means "Whenever this creature attacks, defending player sacrifices N permanents."
The Emrakrul will have already been declared as an attacker when you get the opportunity to Maze it.
