Consecrated sphinx and Decree of pain

If my opponent has a consecrated sphinx (draw two cards each time I draw a card) and I use decree of pain would he get to draw any cards as a result of me killing all creatures, including his sphinx?

When you resolve a spell, you follow the instructions in order. First you destroy all creatures, including the Sphinx. Then you draw cards. Because the Sphinx was already destroyed and is not in play, its ability doesn't work anymore, and your opponent doesn't get to draw any cards.
