I am trying to get weekend Magic Events started at our local game store in Blacksburg, VA which is directly across from the main entrance to Virginia Tech. The events are currently alternating between Standard and Legacy to appeal both to the local standard scene and the rising demand in many areas for Legacy.
These are regular sanctioned events and you do not need a deck list.
All Universal rules and Magic: The Gathering Floor Rules are in effect for this event; no proxies allowed. Players are highly recommended to bring pen, paper, card sleeves and appropriate counters. The store highly suggests trading between, but does not allow advertising, people with excess amounts of trade stocks, taking up excessive table space for trades, nor buying and selling of cards between players.
