While the primer on the thread is good, so many questions get repeated its not even funny, plus a lot of people just don't read the first page for whatever reason. Plus, he never posts anymore (not that I blame him, The Source has gone to shit).

Also, I'm like 70% sure thats illegal. Not that that stops many people.

I had High Tide built months ago before Time Spiral unban and all the hype now from wins. I tested with you at Franks with it. TES IMO is the strongest deck in legacy. I got the two underground seas from Lori, and LEDs from my Painter deck, just missing some small stuff.

Nice article, Liam (and congrats on your finish). Good job pointing out the interactions between Shattering Spree and Chalice, and how to play around them. I had to do a little research to figure out why what you said was true... maybe this will help others who are struggling:

Shattering spree and all copies created by the replicate ability are basically the same spell, down to the CMC. However, Chalice of the Void only counters spells that are CAST (per the text on the card), so therefore the copies, which are NOT cast but rather placed on the stack, are not countered. The original spell would be countered.

Thanks for writing that article. Now, with all the threads and articles and primers I've read about TES, and having built the deck for 6 months now... about time I actually learn how to play it x_x
