It's that time again, ladies and gents. Legacy at Melrose Music & Comics! This event is a store credit event, meaning that 100% of the entry fees we receive get distributed back out as store credit slips for prizes to the top X (depending on attendance.)

When:
Saturday, May 28th 2011. Registration starts at 11AM. Event starts at 2PM SHARP (For reals this time. There are no player minimums for prize brackets now.) $ 10 entry fee.

Store credit may not be used toward this entry fee.

Swiss + cut, depending on attendance. 8-12 will be Swiss + 1, 13+ will be cut to top 8. The store has capacity for 32 players.

A judge for this event has not been announced yet. (If you or someone you know would like to judge, contact me @ melrosemusic@gmail.com)

Prizes:

Prizes are based on attendance, and so will vary. Here are some examples:

Attendance: 17 people.
Entry Fees: $170
1st place - $60 Store Credit
2nd place - $45 Store Credit
3rd Place - $25 Store Credit
4th Place - $20 Store Credit
5th Place - $20 Store Credit

If there are no kids attending the event I say the loser of a game has to take a shot..that will lessen the sting of losing and even promote the losing of games. ;)

I am definitely interested in attending this, I almost forgot about it and I dont have work on saturday. The only problem is that I have a bad habit of waking up all over the city on saturdays, and usually after one pm. I will have to make a point of not doing that this week.

Thanks to the 17 people who attended! We think it went pretty well. Obviously Rhode Island suppressed attendance a little.

I'll post top 8 tomorrow.

It was pretty awesome tournament, 17 people, we split the top 4.

Top 4 decks were Painterstone, Dredge, Aggro Loam, and BUG (my deck.) Joe Lossett took 5th with breakfast.
