Hi!

Here we are with another edition of the Catalan League of Legacy (LCL),this time it took place at Barcelona. We broke the record and there were 118 players fighting over 7 swiss rounds. The tournament had good prizes in € but in addition, this tournament was also a Trial for the Bazaar of Moxen tournament in Annecy.

1st: 390€
2nd: 190€
Top 4: 112 €
Top 8: 25€

Talking about the tournament, there was a big change of decks, and there were a lot of Combo and anti-Bant decks in the Top 8, including 2 Maverick. Here is it (bold = winner):

Top 8:

Alberto Quintero (UGRW Control) vs. Manuel Gómez (Raptor) (Burn)
Ricard Tuduri (Dredge) vs. Sergi Barque (UW Merfolks)
Toni Anaya (UR Welder Painters) vs. Victor Ballarín (Ad Nauseam)
Sergio Cortijo (Maverick) vs. Francesc Blanco (Maverick feat. NO & Zenith)

Top 4:

Manuel Gómez (Raptor) (Burn) vs. Francesc Blanco (Maverick feat. NO & Zenith)
Sergi Barque (UW Merfolks) vs. Toni Anaya (UR Welder Painters)

Final:

Manuel Gómez (Raptor) (Burn) vs. Sergi Barqué (UW Merfolks)

Both players split the finals and Sergi let Manuel be the first, so Manuel Gómez is the winner of the April's LCL, congratulations!

Thanks for posting this. But how did you get videos of a tournament taking place in the future?

Don't believe godryk, Europeans use the same dating format as we do.

We actually just recently invented a time machine for video cameras. Apparently, M12 and NPH will have no impact on Legacy.

Hehe

Sadly I don't have the remaining videos, the shop of the tournament recorded but didn't uploaded them, so until May 21 there won't be more videos.

You can watch MTGO Legacy videos commented by me in spanish in my youtube channel though: www.youtube.com/ercoman (http://www.youtube.com/ercoman)
