The New Phyrexian card (enchantment) in question is: "Phyrexian Unlife"

Phyrexian Unlife reads:

You do not lose the game for having 0 or less life.
While you are at 0 or less life, all sources of damage to you gains Infect.

Here are some scenarios that needs to be cleared:

1) I am at 8 life. If a Progenitus is attacking me, how would the enchantment above affect damage calculation? Would my life be just at zero or will I be at zero with two poison counters?

2) I am at 8 life. If three Goblin Piledrivers are attacking me: a) I will be at zero life with no poison counters, b) I will be at zero life with 5 poison counters (from the third Goblin Piledriver), c) I will be at zero life with 7 poison counters (8 damage from the first and second Goblin Piledriver bringing me to zero, the remaining two damage from the second Goblin Piledriver giving me two poison counters and the third Goblin Piledriver giving me another 5 poison counters)?

Thanks in advance.

1) You are at -2 life.

2) You are at -7 life.

No matter how many creatures are attacking you, combat damage is taken all at once as a single event, leaving you at negative life if necessary. In both cases, you don't get any poison counters this turn because they had to put you into infection range first. It's from now on that damage will start translating into poison counters.

More technically, damage from an object is dealt as a single event and all combat damage is a single event.

Assuming the translation of Phyrexian Unlife is accurate, the second effect will not kick in until after something knocks you to 0 or less - since each instance of damage is a single event, Unlife's replacement effect won't kick in halfway through.
