and what about drain effects with storm, cards like tendrils of agony?

Burn will give the player that many poison counters if their life is zero or less before the burn resolves. Life loss effects will not give poison counters, they will just make the player's life go negative, which probably won't matter.

Also, the other thread talks about some of the other issues with this card. Oddly enough, it also refers to it as "that new NPH card", which I thought was referring to that new Neil Patrick Harris card. But that didn't make any sense.

Couple of quick questions about Phyrexian Unlife

You don't lose the game for having 0 or less life.
As long as your life total is 0 or less, all damage is dealt to you as though its source had infect.

A. ) I am at 3 and someone attacks me for 7 with a single creature. What happens?

B.) I am at 3 and someone attacks me with four 2/2's. What happens?

C.) I am at 3 and someone attacks me with a 3/3, 2/2 and 7/7. What happens?

I think I know how this works, but I would just like someone to clear it up. I'm sure this card is gonna cause some headaches at the prerelease.

All combat damage in a given step is dealt as a single event, so none of your examples give you poison counters this turn. You end at -4, -5 and -9 life respectively.
