How to alter card tutorial?

is there any good tutorial that can teach you how to alter magic cards?

but can someone explain how the carbon copy thing works?

You paint grey on your card, then print an image out.
Place carbon paper between the image and your card.
Trace your image with a pen or something and it will transfer the line-work to the card.
