I spent loads of money in their ebay store. When he started the website, I placed a $175 USD order with them and I had no problems. All the while, I always got all the standard confirmation emails, etc. This is very surprising. But yeah, send them an email.

I have done business with them a few times, and one time I had a similar issue where they were taking longer than they should have. I sent and email, and they responded with a very polite and apologetic response explaining that they had been extremely busy (they were away at GP Columbus at the time). I got my cards shortly after

Does anybody have experience with international orders from them? I need to place a small order (70-80 $) but want to be sure about shipping times etc.

I can't speak for International orders, but I have always been impressed with their turnaround times on getting cards in the mail. I order from quite a few different places and a lot of them won't send something out the day I order it unless it is in before 8 am EST without charging me for it. Hotsauce always seems to be quick to get it in the mail.

Maybe the confirmation emails are going in your junkmail folder. I had that happen once.

I've had very good luck walking into their shop (west suburbs of chicago) and buying cards. They're always busy filling orders and seem, in general, to have their stuff together.

I'm torn; it took 5 business days for them to ship a 12-card order to me, but I also know and like the owner. They have good prices and selection, but I'd be wary of ordering cards that you need by the weekend.

Ordered from them in the past with no problems.

Yep, its been a while now, but as i remeber, there were no problems. In that time i orderd cards from the USA on a regular basis. Regarding shipping time its hard to make an statement, because orders can sometimes stick in the customs for certain amount of time. Ask them to mark your order as a gift, most stores will do that and it really speeds things up.

Last I knew, Italian customs considered Magic cards to be "playing cards" and illegal to import into the country. I've had Italian customs confiscate cards I shipped into Italy - back when I was naieve enough to ship to Italy, anyway.

Playing cards are playing cards, not Magic cards. I've shipped hundreds of packages to Italy and never had any problems that I can recall.

The problem with Italy is more with corruption more than their laws. No offense to any Italians, it's just the way it is at the Italian post office in some areas.

There's numerous problems with Italy. If Customs opens your package, they will at least sometimes just confiscate it. Postal clerks will sometimes just steal it. And most commonly, the receiver will just steal it and claim he never got it.

I find this all to be largely true of my beloved United States, also.

Cdr,if you ship a package to Italy using first class mail, and receiver says the package never arrived, 99,999% of the times is because he stole it claiming it got lost in the mail. Customs don't open packages with a declared value under 30-50$, and since almost every Mtg related package arrives here with the following: ''toys, declared value 10$'' (even if there are 300$ in cards inside) I can't see how they could open it. I bought hundreds of times from Usa and never got any item lost in the mail (10-350$ orders. ALL of them had written a very low declared price on them, therefore NO ONE has been opened by the customs. Moreover, if the customs would open a package, 100% of the times they will tax it. So I'm 100% sure no Custom employee ever opened one of my orders, because I never had to pay a single eur in tax.)
