Obliterator + Deathtouch

If my opponent swings with multiple creatures, and I block one with a Phyrexian Obliterator, and another with a Vampire Nighthawk, can he/she sac the creature blocked by Nighthawk to the Obliterator's triggered ability?

Death by deathtouch is a state based action (it's actually considered lethal damage), so the creature dealt damage by Nighthawk will die before any triggers from damage even go on the stack.
