Hello everyone. You're are all welcome to laugh a little about this thread ;) but hope you would like to add a comment on how to improve the deck without "alt+control+delete" it in the workstation ;b

Anyways, here is my thoughts:

Hunted Horror, Hunted Phantasm and Hunted Troll all seems fine IF they are the tokens are controlled! which could be done by:

Brand : Give you all your tokens back made by the Hunted creatures for a red mana.

Necroplasm : a recurable token destroyer each turn. (Seems atm. like the best solution to me. + might hold Goblins and other swarm decks away for a few rounds since it keeps destroying them each upkeep.)

Leyline of Singularity : 0 or 4 mana required sadly. (Free kills on the tokens as long as it is ingame.)

- And ofc' all the usuals Ratchet bomb, Engineered, deeds. (But I believe the numbers between 1-3 is better.)

- If all of this "creature-token control seems weird to you a few Repeals can kill one+draw you are a card for one mana anyway.

However if I should go the Leyline route, I might have to add:

Minamo, School at Water's Edge (Protection)

Toshiro Umezawa (Turn all the kills into an aditional spell)

Bloodbound March (keep killing their creatures after the first kill)

- And turn the deck into a control shell.

But How does the ideas look so far. Could it become a deck?

Suggested Cards (so far) that I'll try to combine into the mix:
1. Torpor Orb
2. Despotic Scepter
3. Tainted Aether

I didn't think you would be the owner of the tokens.
I thought that tokens either didn't have an owner or it was the person who first controlled them.

Also...

Torpor Orb

Interressting card IMO.
- oh, checked Gatherer. It seems the rule changed in 2010 - It normaly was owned by the ability triggered user : the caster of Hunted Horror... I'm sorry, so many rules keep on changeing. xD I'll remove it from the list - sadly. Without though (to remove the red source) It could become a Blue/Black list: more consistacy.

Do you believe Necroplasm would keep the fast aggro decks away for a few turns early on? 'cause atm it seems like a key-piece to me. It might need a accelerate piece to come out fast enough, any ideas Kusumoto?

The rule about token owner is :
200.4a A token’s owner is the player who controlled the spell or ability that put it into play. A token’s controller is the player who put it into play.
-- Or maybe not, apparently !

also to be considered despotic scepter and tainted aether

edit --
and Varchild's War-Riders

Oh, okay. Must have read wrong. Sorry. - So Brand is still viable -> might be able to make a few nice plays.
- Brand has been added to the list again.

Tainted Aether seems a little like Leyline of Singularity to me. Though it could make us keep our tokens after a resolved Brand. But it would require us to play the non-leyline version (currentyly working on one atm.)

Despotic Scepter is also at the none-leyline version but seem okay because if it's mana cost.

I haven't fallen in love with Varchild's War-Riders though, seems our Hunted Creatures seems alot strongher equal to him.

You laugh now, this was actually a tier 2 deck a LONG time ago. Can't remember the name of the deck, but the gist of the list goes like this (I played it for 3 tourneys, was a decent deck)

18 lands (4 Wasteland, 7 Fetch, 7 duals, 1 Basic Swamp)

Dudes: 13
3 Dreadnought
4 Hunted Horror
4 Dark Confidant
2 Trinket Mage

Shenanigans: 10
3 EE (hits vial and your hunted tokens if you don't draw brand)
3 Brand
4 Stifle (hits Hunted dudes too)

Permission/Draw: 19
4 Brainstorm
4 Force of Will
3 Daze
3 Spell Snare
3 Thoughtseize
2 Smother/Snuff Out

The original list played Vial, but I prefered the EE/Trinket Mage option back in the day to fetch EE against Lackeys/Vials, and also fetch up Dreadnoughts. I think the deck was called Vial Horror but I really don't remember.

This does not work anymore. Read the rulings under Brand (http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=5564) in the Gatherer.

Closed.
