The deck's goal is to play out one of several turn two threats backed by free countermagic in the form of Force of Will, Daze, and Mental Misstep (Spell Snare-B-Gone), and eventually land a Jace and ride that to victory. It's basically that BUG deck running rampant on the SCG circuit that's being billed as Team America, but with a few changes as I don't think Goyf is good enough to warrant a green splash anymore.

Here are two sample decklists, a UBR one, and an Esper one. The Esper build has an extra land since it relies more on white, and because it lacks Ponders (slots taken up by equipment), though the Repeals and Ponders in that list are interchangeable.

ive been testing a similar list to the esper one.. with just black for bobs, and white for sfm/swords..

bblossom is nice from the board, but bob is strong against the same decks that BB is... Vendillion Clique should be main...at least over 2 bitterblossoms.

Kyle Boggemes posted a list in his article on BBurst yesterday that's a good starting point.

Vindicate should be a 1/2 of in any esper list. perish out of the side (or crusaders or submerges) are really good with all the Team America goin round.

the hardest part for me so far with my testing is figuring out what swords to play. SOFI is a house against other aggro decks and merfolk especially. SOFF helps you beat up on TeamAmerica and Batterskull has just been nuts vs aggro matchups or standstills. I'd like to have a Jitte either main or in the SB...

Jace just seems like its jammed into these esper lists just because its a blue base deck.. which im not feeling.

an enlightened tutor sideboard is really really good right now giving you easy options for multiple decks with only 3 slots coming in usually... needle/extra swords/wheel of sun and moon/energy flux/back to basics/arcane lab/ethersworn canonist/oring/metamorph
