Spellskite + Rayne, Academy Chancellor

You have both Spellskite + Rayne in play.

Let's say the opponent casts a beneficial spell like Giant Growth on one of his creatures. I use Spellskite to redirect the ability towards it.

Is Rayne's ability triggered now?

Some confirmation would be nice, though.

Rayne: "Whenever you or a permanent you control becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, you may draw a card."

Changing the target of a spell or ability makes the new target "become targeted", yes.
