As my recent Peasant threads were numerous, but also unfortunately unpopular, I thought I'd simply create one, put all the ideas in here and try to find some people to discuss Peasant in general.
We have another tournament upcoming and as I had great success with black aggro / control, I'd like to try pure control this time. The list I came up with is the following:
2 Cabal Coffers
22 Swamp
3 Crypt Rats
1 Darkling Stalker
4 Sign in Blood
2 Necrologia
4 Innocent Blood
4 Geth's Verdict
4 Tendrils of Corruption
3 Drain Life
3 Consume Spirit
1 Demonic Tutor
4 Hymn to Tourach
3 Expedition Map
// Sideboard
SB: 4 Unmake
SB: 1 Crypt Rats
SB: 4 Duress
SB: 1 Bojuka Bog
SB: 4 Augur of Skulls
SB: 1 Free Slot
I think the deck should have an advantage over aggro decks and the heavy discard suite from the sideboard might be able to force control to its knees. Unmake is in against creature heavy decks and Guardian of the Guildpact, Bojuka Bog helps with graveyard based decks.
