I suppose it's a little late to post this since it happened yesterday, but better late than never. I was parked on the 4th level of the convention center parking garage yesterday and when I made it back to my car around 8 pm, I found my back window broken and 3 boxes of cards as well as over $800 in other personal belongings missing. I filed reports with on-site security and the Providence police but expect nothing to come of it given the total lack of security in the parking garage.

I am posting this mostly as a warning for anyone still on-site today and as a notice for any store owners or ebay buyers. One box was just a white 1600-count box with bulk commons and uncommons from Rise and Scars block. The other two are distinguishable as mine. One was a red box with Ice Age art graphics all over it. The other was a tan Tempest box, again with card art all over it. The Tempest box contained mostly sleeves and random bulk, but the Ice Age box contained a complete pre-Besieged Affinity deck (Ravagers, Vials, Glimmervoids, Blinkmoths, MoE's, AQ Ornithopters, etc.) in rough black sleeves and more than half a non-LED Dredge deck (crappy white bordered City of Brasses, but most of the dredgers, Japanese Coliseums, the Ichorids, and most of the sideboard) in old blue Ultra Pros. These boxes also contained many playable/semi-playable commons and uncommons as well as lower end rares (Oversold Cemeteries, Patriarch's Biddings, that kind of thing) in all colors. The pile of green cards included Russian Imperious Perfects, Korean and Japanese Llanowars and Quirion Rangers, most of the playable elves, Japanese Moment's Peace, Chinese Reclaims and Restocks and various other foreign and non-foreign playables. Other random foreign cards of note include Japanese Werebears, Chinese Lava Darts, foil Chinese Wispmare and Nevermaker, and Chinese Pursuit of Knowledge.

If any store owners on the East Coast or any of the on-site vendors encounter anyone trying to sell anything that matches my description, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks. It's really sad that we can't get a Legacy GP without shit like this happening.

Day one, there was probably over $500K in retail value of the registered decks, never mind what people had in their backpacks/binders/cars as well as the dealers and stuff on site. It's a shitty thing that happened to you man, hopefully people will read this and be absolutely anal about guarding their belongings at big events.

I know how you feel man. Three years ago, I went to the Evo Championship at Las Vegas. I had my PS3, two arcade stick, and a bunch of fighting games stolen from my car. There was probably worth around $800 worth of property. Ever since then, I just keep everything I don't need at the hotel and everything I need on me at all times. It is just not safe to keep things in the car. I never got my stuff back either. I hope for the best.

A close friend of mine had his fully asian foil fish deck stolen from inside his messenger bag while looking at pairings... We told the judges and every vendor new about it after they made an announcement. Shit sucks but it does happen :(

Let me catch someone in the act, regardless of it being my stuff or not... would be well worth the ban imo.

You actually maybe be lucky that it was stolen from your car. Most insurance policies cover theft.
