Dystopia

What happens if i do not pay the cumulative upkeep cost?

[Nonex]

You have to sacrifice Dystopia then.

Dystopia
Also, on the turn that you decide not to pay, you'll still have to sacrifice a green or white permanent if able.

Is that true?

i thougth that if you didnt forfill first requirments (paying upkeep)on the card then you cant use rest/next effect.

[Nonex]

Dystopia has two triggered abilities, and both trigger simultaneously as soon as the upkeep step begins.

[Koby]

Nonex is correct. Removing the source of a triggered ability while on the stack will not stop the effect. (Exception if the target is removed - in which case the triggered ability will become countered due to lack of target).
