I didn't pay particularly close attention to that part of the match; I saw Sullivan in a shit position and Davis in a good position, turned around for a minute or less, then saw Sullivan (still) in a shit position and Davis (still) in a good one, with Sullivan scooping it up. Quite a few of the chat-box commentators were claiming he played an additional land on his last turn, so I have two questions:
1.) Did he?
2.) Was it relevant?

1.) Yes, Jim Davis played 2 lands in his turn, and nobody noticed it.
2.) Not in the least. Sullivan scooped after that Davis turn and the extra land did not matter.

It wasn't even close to relevant and not even close to cheating. It was a mistake. They happen and no one caught it. Stop calling it cheating.

Yup, i saw it too. It was exactly as he said. Simple mistake that a judge didn't catch and one that had no real bearing on the game anyway.

I wasn't calling it cheating, I was just asking because I missed that particular exchange and everyone was bitching about it in the chatbox. I just wanted to check here to see what actually happened, sheesh.

For the record, because people keep asking me about it-I was pretty sure, but not 100% sure, that Jim Davis played an extra land against me, but I was getting beaten so badly (I would have lost had he not cast a spell for the remainder of the game) that I felt all I would be doing was fishing for a game loss, which I didn't want to do. Also, I am 100% Jim was not trying to cheat me. Thank you and please move along.
