Does Starcitygames honor all their orders?

Short Answer: No.
Longish Answer: If you are planning on buying cards right after the B&R list update tonight, there is a good chance SCG will invalidate your order. They did it last time with Time Spirals, and I would bet they do it again.

Most stores have removed them from their inventories. I smell shenanigans.

I would much rather have them do this than cancel an order after it has been placed.

Considering they sold me 50 Mental Missteps at .50 each I would say they honor all of there orders.
It seems like if the payment is charged they will do it.
However they probably removed the questionables from their inventory just to be safe, no fault on that front given the crazy prices post unbanning.

They have never not honored any of my orders, no matter how awkward it got.

They've always been fine for me, as was mentioned the B&R announcement was tonight and jace and SFM got the axe in standard. SCG was probably just doing what c7272 said and it didn't help.

that sentence is awkward
they aren't obliged to honor orders, so it's up to them really - dishonoring might hurt their reputation a bit though

They are excellent about honoring orders. As far as I know of, they always have. They are not below pulling inventory to wait for the announcement, but can you blame them? I sure don't.
They even honored the pre-orders I got on Jace and Vengevine when I got them dirt cheap catching them as they were first put up. I bought my Vengevines when SCG put them out and it was cheap as Ben didn't think it was a hot one, then it went way up before they were released. I still ended up getting the playset despite how cheap I ordered them for.
If I got that order (it was pretty ridiculous), then I figure they will honor just about any of them. Though I wish they would give a little leeway on newer cards now instead of jacking the price right off the bat. Karn... cough... Good word of mouth for a few cheaper ones or rep for price jacking. Guess they didn't think of that one.

They're probably honoring your order right now, no land tax or earthcraft off B&R list, you'll have to wait until Sept for more speculation =\
BTW, SCG has always been nothing but great on my orders, only one issue I ever had was I bought a Korean Wasteland and a couple days later they said they couldn't find it in their inventory.

Most card stores will tend to be tempted to dishonor orders every once in awhile, but SCG avoids this whenever possible. In short, if you want to find a store that is upright most honest with their dealings, it's SCG, despite the price of cards. But that's what you pay for: a premium for a company that has a good reputation in being as honest as they can against other companies.
I've no issues with SCG. The high card prices aren't an issue because it's entirely up to a customer to buy cards, and not the fault of the store for pricing cards high. The ONLY thing that sometimes makes me unhappy with SCG is the whole price hike situation a few months ago. I sincerely believe that SCG is just doing what they're doing, buying/selling cards at profit margins, but given their influence, they are partly responsible for what card prices end up being. It's their choice whether they are fine/or choose to ignore the situation.

Now I have noticed Card Kingdom, Strikezone, ABUgames, and especially troll and Toad decide not to honor orders on that tricky little unbanning date. All of those, at least once, canceled an order I had on cards that went up in price quite quickly. Some were pre-orders, some were unbannings, and some were just cards I saw going up quick (ie candelabra, EDH rares).

QFT - I never had a problem ordering from them, and have been happy with their policies for as long as I remember. High prices will be high, but it's the choice of the consumer to determine whether the value is fair.

Why would you post something that's just an outright falsehood? We don't cancel orders based on volume unless it's another vendor who has canceled our orders in the past, or it's a clerical price mistake (IE: We had put foil Steam vents at $29.99 in NM, and typoed the SP foil version at $7.99 instead of $27.99).
We didn't cancel any orders that involved Time Spiral, except for those that had credit card/paypal Billing/shipping issues...and only after trying to resolve those issues so we could sell cards to customers.
We did not cancel the Land Tax/Earthcraft order - we have a live inventory, and as soon as you place an order, the cards are taken out of the system so that no one else can double-order those cards.
We're in the business of selling Magic cards. We're not in the business of not selling Magic cards.
Just setting the record straight here.

Once I bought a NM card but received a EX one instead. I sent some scans to SCG expecting some kind of apologize, and they actually refund me the difference in price plus a little bonus (a symbolic amount). The guy who attend was a really nice guy, and show lots of concern, so at least in my case they were really honorable.
PD: Not that it's directly related to the main topic, but I suppose their actions follows the same ideology of keeping their good image with their customers.

I happened to be awake the night Entomb was unbanned, so I ordered a playset immediately. When I got up in the morning, they had gone up in price by a few dollars each, I forget exactly how much. SCG sent them to me without a problem! By the time they arrived, they had gone up a few more dollars.
I like to support my local card shop (them staying in business is obviously good for me), but SCG is my go-to place on the internet. It's always worth the extra few dollars (as compared to ebay) for the convenience, their inventory, and my peace of mind.

In some cases, they won't honour an order, but 99% of the time they will. You can't buy them out of stock of a card, for example, but that's understandable. At GP Providence, my friend wanted 24 Tariffs, since a) we love Tariff, b) no shop in the local area of Canada has any. The guy checked to see if it was some new hot tech, but would only let us have a playset each. Again, understandable, since they literally ONLY had the ones on the table, but I would have liked 24 of them :)
Like I said though, that could be because maybe they thought I was a dealer, or something. Point being, otherwise they're good. As in, you can email Ben directly if you have a problem, and he'll fix it. Personally. That's pretty awesome.
