Tariel, Reckoner of souls

1. Rules for eternal formats say that order of grave cannot change. Thats because of cards like Bosium strip which work with top of grave.

How to keep grave order with his ability?

2 VS Unearth ability
Yesterday I was unearthing my Fatestitcher. Oponnent reacted by tapping the Tariel. I had no other creature in grave so it was certain which creature will be affected.

We decided to follow the stacking like:
1. Tariels ability resolves, Fatestitcher goes to the oponnent
2. Uneath fizzles because fatestitcher is no longer in graveyard.

(what if unearth of fatestitcher will be activated while there is 2 fatestitchers in grave, and one of them is removed from grave?)

I think we did it correctly but we are not sure about it...

For reference:

702.82. Unearth

702.82a Unearth is an activated ability that functions while the card with unearth is in a graveyard. "Unearth [cost]" means "[Cost]: Return this card from your graveyard to the battlefield. It gains haste. Exile it at the beginning of the next end step. If it would leave the battlefield, exile it instead of putting it anywhere else. Activate this ability only any time you could cast a sorcery."

1- I would assign each creature card a number and roll a die.

2- You did it correctly. In case of multiple Fatestitchers nothing special happens, since each unearth ability refers and belongs only to the Fatestitcher with it.

1. I'll add to this question. Let's say, specifically, that this ability is activated with exactly 37 creature cards in an opponent's graveyard, and the opponent has a Volrath's Shapeshifter in play. What's the procedure?

2. You handled it correctly. In the case of two of them, you'd have to indicate which Fatestitcher you were choosing. Then there'd be a 50% chance (Assuming the two Fatestitchers are the only creatures in your graveyard) that the ability would randomly pick the one you tried to Unearth.

Roll a die. Or two dice, with one of them representing tens.

Even with 37 creatures I'd still assign each creature card a number and roll a 10-sided die, since most of them have a 0 instead of a 10. First for the tens (any number other than 0, 1, 2 or 3 = roll again), then for the units (8 or 9 = roll again). I'd probably assign numbers from 1 to 37 to make things simpler, therefore no one would be number 0, so if I roll a 0 for the tens, another 0 for the units = roll again. Any other random method should be as valid as this one.

Volrath's Shapeshifter shouldn't have any problem with that. If I happen to reanimate the creature it's copying, it should just copy whichever is now the top card.
