rav duals + enter the field untapped effects

When I search for a rav dual, be it with land grant, a fetch, or something like harrow, where the search card says enters untapped, do I still have to pay 2 life for keep the land from entering the battlefield tapped?


PS-I have been loosing 3 life to fetchland into Ravnica Dual, is that correct?

They'll always be tapped unless you pay 2 life. None of those cards say you put it onto the battlefield untapped, either. And even if they did (which they wouldn't), you'd still have to pay two life.

If you want it to ETB untapped, yes. You can choose to have it enter tapped.

I would like to add that two of the cards listed in the OP will not work as the original poster intended.

Land Grant will be able to search out the Ravnica duals, but it places them in hand, not on the battlefield.

Harrow will only search for basic lands.

except if they have Amulet of Vigor or would that not work?

Yes, the Amulet's ability will trigger when the land comes into play tapped and you'll get to untap it without losing any life in the process.
