Hello, I'm just using this thread to gauge what kind of interest there would be in a weekly legacy tournament, ideally casually(like a standard FNM, five dollar entry, play for store credit, etc.). I know there are weekly tournaments in Brooklyn and Forest Hills, but I know they're a bit of a drive for me out on Long Island, ontop of unpredictable traffic on the Van Wyck and Belt. Any replies would be helpful!

Where are you, in Nassau or Suffolk? Here in Nassau we used to run Legacy on Saturdays at Mark's Comics in Valley Stream, but eventually that became Vintage. That being, it was really just 8 people, playing 6 of my decks in reality.

Depending on the venue, i might be able to drum up some people to play Legacy around here.

GameTable in Mineola. It's pretty much a standard store, but they do have some product/singles, and it would be pretty much nothing but peace and quiet on a Sunday afternoon.

Every time I head out to gametable, I ask about legacy. They've done nothing about it. I have no idea what's going on in their heads.

I'm using this thread to hopefully be able to drum up some support, let them know what's going on.

Well, i've actually never been to Game Table before, but i'd make an occasional trip on a Sunday for some Legacy. Depending, i might be able to bring a friend or two.

Yeah, I'd be interested/would show to Sunday Legacy if Gametable is walkable from the Mineola LIRR station.
