I am playing UR-painterstone with 2 Pyroblast... i see people usualy play a 1-1 split with REB. ..even in the SB of other decks (a friend of mine in his gobo-SB for example) i see lots of people playing a split...1-2 or 2-2 ...

I prefer the pyroblast, but mainly because of the Blackboard (i dont own any FBB REB)..i know it is silly..

the spilt makes sens when i am thinking about medling mage..but there is more about this on the cards itself. they have different wording.. is there a good reason, based on the wording to play on or the other? i have a hard time imagening what is to outcom of the difference...sure the Pyroblast can target a non-blue spell no effect which cant be dont with the REB..but on the other side the REB cant be misdirected on a non-blue spell..

any pro and con on these two cards are wellcom..

As you said, misdirecting REB is much harder than misdirecting Pyroblast since the later can target anything. Therefor, Storm decks usually play Pyroblast which can be used to increase the storm count.

Both spells can easily be redirected to Misdirection itself essentially turning the card into a Force of Will. The only scenario when Pyro is less favored is when you're playing UR and actually have blue permanents on the board (or a Painter naming blue).

Not really. If you choose "Destroy target permanent" with either, you cannot redirect it to Misdirection because you can't change the mode of the spell, just the target. If you had chosen "Counter target blue spell" then yes, you could misdirect to Misdirection.

Of course, since REB is strictly better in this deck, people will be more likely to name that with meddling mage or cabal therapy. You should run all REB's for one tournament, then switch to all Pyroblasts for the next tournament. Better yet, you could run 2 MD, 2 SB, and switch between games.
