The older of you may remember this deck. It was a deck to beat in T2 during Invasion Block. It was so dominating that an entire anti-deck was playable that time. It draws advantage giving big creatures haste with Fires of Yavimaya. The bigger the creature, the greater the win of damage because haste is just one attack more. So I have the idea to double the damage of Progenitus.

4 Noble Hierarch
4 Chalice of the Void
2 Green Sun's Zenith
1 Qasili Pridemage
4 Tarmogoyf
4 Knight of the Reliquary
3 Dungrove Elder
1 Progenitus

4 Fires of Yavimaya
4 Natural Order
4 Oblivion Ring

22 Lands
4 Mox Diamond

Ideas? Thoughts?

Personally I'd probably rep this out purely Red/Green, but that's just out of preference to what it used to be haha.

Unfortunately, every list I try to come up with for it seems awkwardly slow, which is strange given the intention of the deck but...since you only typically play like one creature a turn anyways, it feels like Lightning Greaves could accomplish the same thing and give it shroud.

Wouldn't it be easier to just use Mass Hysteria or Emblem of the Warmind? Or even Entomb into Anger?

Concordant Crossroads? You could go mono green with it.

I've been messing around with a Fires list for about the last year or so. Unfortunately, it's a little fragile for the Legacy metagame, but if you have a more casual area to play, the deck can do some disgusting things.

I run 4 Fires of Yavimaya and 3 Sarkhan Vol's to ensure that I can give my creatures haste every game. I don't think you want to run Mox either. The eight-pack of Birds of Paradise/Noble Hierarch/Llanowar Elves still works really well and doesn't give you card disadvantage in a deck that can't afford it. I'm pretty sure the beef you run should be in the 4 cmc spot in the deck since that's the sweet spot. Things like Spellbreaker Behemoth and Blastoderm protect themselves while giving you a nice clock.

Also, run Saproling Burst. That card wins games flat out against opponents who don't expect it.

Greaves are similar, but doesn't work with Progenitus.

Emblem of the Warmind would work if i only ran creatures with shroud/hexproof. I played Entomb into Anger in another deck, it is not as good as it seems, it dies to GY hate and Wasteland.

Concerning Concordand Crossroads and Mass Hysteria -> very risky as I play Chalice

You are right in all you said. For casual these strategies might work, but most cards you play are 1 mana too much for the competetive level :/

I editet a cardname in the opening post ; )

What do you think of a madness package with Wild Mongrel,Fiery Temper,Basking Rootwalla,Roar of the Wurm,Vengevine, and Anger? You could even use Brawn for trample and Fauna Shaman as creature tutor. Along with Flametongue Kavu and Tarmogoyf, it sounds like it could really put the hurt on.
