With your country in meltdown, how can you guys even afford Magic, let alone pimping out Legacy decks?

Thanks for the Videos!

Top8, G1, why did not Adria pay mana for FOW, was he that afraid of Daze?

It's not the apocalypse, you must check your source of information.

@tsabo_tavoc: I supose so

Isn't it like 25% unemployment?

I mean, it's no Greece, but Spain will need an EU bail out by this time next year, and most likely before then. That being said, I love that my home country has a great Legacy scene :).

Are there videos of the finals?

I don't think so.

Spain isn't Portugal.
Though I highly doubt that belongs in this thread right here.
Enric, what does the writing on the Brainstorm in the pic mean?

I don't think so.

:-/.

Well, you guys are electing a more conservative government though.

Spain isn't Portugal.

The news here in the States talks about how Spain, Greece, and Portugal are all in economic troubles.

I says something like Julio (July) LCL Champion.

Funny, European news also tell that the US are also pretty much broke. But you're still playing Legacy?

Well, thats actually just wrong. America is still the richest country in the world (highest income). We just spend more than we earn, but we have the money to fuel it, we just sell bonds.

Also, we have no planning for the future here in America, when the economy crashes, and our cards aren't worth shit, we will be fucked.

Yeah, tapped out on a crucial spell against a deck packing 3-4 Daze is not the best situation.

Thanks for the videos, I really liked seeing Galito's UWR Stone in action as I'm testing his build.

Yes, something like that, there's one brainstorm for every monthly champion.

You commented that he made a misplay by not playing the Mental Misstep, but if he did that, all Forces would be cut off.

Yes, but that's better than losing.

I don't get on the Finals, G2, why the Tide player searched for Echoing Truth, instead of a counter or something, or why he didn't used the ET his turn.
Don't get G3 too why he didn't Brainstormed T4 to find a 4th land.

And, as a Tide Player, not casting that MM G3 on the combo turn was a mistake. MM always hit the 1st 1cc counter your opponent play, if you can't play around it (like a Spell Pierce sometimes).

@ScatmanX: I asked him the same and he couldn't give me an answer, I comment it on the video, maybe 10h playing Magic.

I don't know about any of you, but I would not be letting my opponent grab my cards and maneuver them into different places for me. I think it's quite rude; if a spell remains on the table and a player forgets to place it into the graveyard before moving on to his or her next series of play, just let them know it needs to be binned.

I must have counted thirteen times the U/w/r player did that to the High Tide player. Whether or not the Tide player forgot to do that is a different story. It has always been a pet-peeve of mine.

There was also that instance where the guy reached across the table and spread his opponent's hand out to count it. I don't know how I would react if someone just did that against me.

Right? Like, it's really not that big of a deal, but it speaks volumes about your opponents' mannerisms and respectability towards your cards and you overall as a player. You shouldn't grab someone's cards without their permission at the very least.

I feel the same way about this. I ALWAYS ask for permission to touch the other player's cards. I watched a game once where a guy was fatesealing with his Jace, and just grabbed the card off the top. The guy freaked out and yelled at him.

They are friends, I supose that if you don't know your opponent you won't do that.

I just can't believe that tide lost given that the tide player usually has a lot of time to sculpt a great hand...:/

Adriŕ and Javi have been friends for long time.

They both are Vintage regular players in Barcelona playing in the LCV for many years now.

There is no problem with that in our Vintage community as we all know each other and the environment is superfriendly and loose.

A little offtopic, but you asked for it:
I am not economist, so I expect that I choose the right economy words.
We aren't so bad. The Govern debt is about 70% GDP (PIB in Spanish), but we have a massive private debt. If you count private + Govern debt we reach 400%.

The main problems are:
- Many of the Spanish economy belongs to the Informal Sector (economía sumergida in Spanish), and you can't count them in the accounts books but pay the debts. All the people working in the Informal Sector counts as unemployment.
- The bigger Spanish incomes comes from Tourism and Construction. I don't need to tell you anything about Sub-prime crisis. Many of the unemployment comes from stop of the Construction production and we need to get another industry working ASAP like Solar or Wind power plants for example to get new incomes and reduces the unemployment. But it needs time.
- Politicians. Fighting for the power and forgetting real problems.

Anyway, the last time that Spain was declared in Bankruptcy was two Centuries ago. We always pay our debts.
Everyone says that Germany is ok, but was declared in Bankruptcy many times at the 20th Century.
