I've been thinking about a deck that abuses Astral Slide, Viscera Dragger and Extractor Demon, Sundial of the Infinite and Life from the Loam.

The point is to have Sundial of the Infinite online, then exile the opponent's creatures with Astral Slide and Loam and in response to the trigger which would return it onto the battlefield, you end the turn and permanently exile it. Meanwhile, you're getting Unearth creatures on your graveyard when you Dredge your Loam, and when you Unearth them, using the same trick, the unearthed creatures will stick on the battlefield until they die.

About the name: "SlideUneath of Infinit" is an anagram of Sundial of the Infinite. What's in the brackets was required to make it sound good and describe this deck a little better.

Here's my current decklist:

4 Sundial of the Infinite

2 Extractor Demon
4 Viscera Dragger
1 Vengeful Pharaoh

4 Astral Slide

4 Enlightened Tutor
1 Ancient Grudge
1 Ray of Revelation
4 Swords to Plowshares
3 Entomb

1 Life from the Loam
4 Thoughtseize

3 Verdant Catacombs
4 Marsh Flats
1 Scrubland
1 Bayou
2 Savannah
4 Wasteland
4 Secluded Steppe
4 Tranquil Thicket
4 Barren Moor

I have no idea about how good this deck is, because I haven't played many games with it, and because I don't know how to play Loam decks in general, my results are worse than how this deck can potentially do. But at least I think it's a fun synergy, and if it could be competitive in Legacy, it's worth trying.

well its hardly a Loam deck when you are running only one Life From the Loam..

Personally I would contstruct it more in way of MUD arcehetype with Smokestacks and/or Phyrexian Drednaughts..

On the other way I like the Entonb-Vengeful Pharaoh idea..

Your mana is terribad.

First, you don't need twelve cycling lands: seven or eight cyclers is usually fine. Second, you probably want some Mox Diamonds to help fix mana: cycling lands count less as lands and more as spells from the standpoint of making a stable manabase, but they're easily pitchable to Mox Diamond, and Diamond also helps fix colors in addition to accelerating you. You also need more duals and/or basics, since you have basically four lands that actually make mana (Wasteland doesn't count as it doesn't help any of your engine except for activating Sundial). I would shave into Wastelands and the enormous number of cycling lands for them, since you don't really need four Wastes with Loam, but you do need a lot of colored mana for Loam + cycling.

Beyond that, though, I don't really get what this deck does. Yeah, Slide stuff out, then permanently remove, unearth with no penalties, etc. but the deck just feels like it's all over the place, and I question how good the whole Slide + Sundial thing is anyway. I guess you can beat people up with Extractor Demons, but that's just so...lackluster. What do you do in the early game, aside from ceding tons of board position to your opponents while you try to assemble some sort of late game? How do you interact with decks that are light on creatures but heavy on control? Why do you need Pharaoh when you can already permanently exile any creature without shroud? How are you not just dead to Mystic decks, or planeswalkers, or decks good at picking apart manabases (like, say, other Loam decks)?

This deck looks like it's all late-game, but your late-game is kind of meh and you will probably be fighting just to stay in the game by the time you can put it together.
