Show and Tell + O-Ring

If my opponent plays show and tell and then a non-land permanent, can i put out oblivion ring in response to the show and tell to exile the permanent that my opponent just played?

I'm assuming my opponent played a normal card- not something like a progenitus

Yes, since O-Ring's ability will be put on the stack but they both come into play simultaneously.

You and your opponent both choose an artifact, creature, enchantment, or land card and both enter the battlefield simultaneously. At that point, the Oblivion Ring's enter-the-battlefield ability will trigger and you will choose a legal target.

It is important to note that you will not know what your opponent has chosen with Show and Tell until the spell has resolved. Many times players try to resolve Show and Tell using APNAP rules. "Oh he dropped an Emrakul, I'll choose Sower/O.Ring/Gilded Drake." This is incorrect.
