I already said before that I was going to write an article about my recent changes to NO RUG and a few hours ago that article was published on eternal-central.com - Tuning NO RUG: What would Kibler do? (http://www.eternal-central.com/?p=1852)
I talk a bit about how the Legacy metagame works and what you need to do if you want to win in Legacy, so check it out!

Most other decks are looking to win the game via Jace, the Mind Sculptor, Knight of the Reliquary, or Stoneforge Mystic into Batterskull. Due to the high amount of support spells like Mental Misstep, Force of Will, and most importantly Brainstorm and the presence of fetchlands and dual lands, a lot of decks are basically just good stuff decks. You don’t need a particular strategy in Legacy to win because the power level of the cards is so high that they usually can end games on their own. Thus, you don’t need to work your deck around your cards and can pack even more strong cards or cards to dig for them.

By the way, there's going to be a follow-up where I actually pick up the deck and discuss some opening hands, boarding plans and so on. Let me know what you think about it and if there are any questions, just ask.

A good read. I'd certainly be interested in the opening hand analysis stuff if you ever got around to it. I find that stuff like that, and watching videos with commentary by the pilot are some great ways to improve my game.

I really like the look of your list, and the theory and thought process that went into it was great. I've been a big fan of Spell Pierce lately, and I had forgotten about Terravore as an answer to Knight of the Reliquary. I'm going to sleeve this up and give it a try!

Thanks for the kind words. And by the way, yes, that was my first published article. Here's my follow-up, I hope you'll enjoy it: Tuning NO RUG Part Two - Mulligans And Sideboarding (http://www.eternal-central.com/?p=2008)

My final article on the deck will most likely be published when I'm back in Germany next week, I'm still recording games looking for some interesting scenarios.

I asked because, if this was the first it was a very good work for the first one > it won't be easy to make them better or keep that level ;-)
I must admit i like this style of articles very much and then its about No RUG so perhaps i'am biased ;-)
So keep up that good work.

Edit : Part II is also very good, of course.

Yesterday the third (and final) part of the series was published: Tuning NO RUG Part Three - Unleashing The Hydra (http://www.eternal-central.com/?p=2124)
Also, mad props to both JACO and piZZero for all the awesome graphics, sample hands and editing.

And by the way, jeanbathez, I replied to your comment on the last article, I don't know if you have already seen it.

Are there any topics you would like to see discussed? My next piece will be somewhat off topic, and I might write something about possible B&R changes and Innistrad after that, but I'm open for suggestions!
