Echo mage+ reality spasm

I will cast Reality spasm
It targets Echo mage, and for simplicity Lotus Vale with untapping mode.

Then i will activate Echo mage (tapping, paying mana), targetting Reality spasm.

Copy comes onto stack. I will choose exactly same targets exactly same mode. Permantents untap upon resolve. Original card is still on stack, so I activate Echo mage again.

A product of this action is infinite mana...

Is there any problem in stacking, or something?

Also, from what I know you don't get to "chose" the same mode. It's already locked in and will be copied as chosen. You get to change targets of course.

Just to mention... Number of targets is also fixed by the original card on stack. This is important for situations where I dont have "3 mana per tap" permanent and I decide to untap 3 Islands instead.

But damn it. It took me years to broke Sigil Tracer and Echo mage... :) Mirari is however still unbreakable :D
