Hello ladies and gentlemen,
I was thinking about how cool it would be to make a chalice deck that had other interactions on turn 1. I have found in the past, having few 1 drops because of CotV made decks too slow to prosper. With the printing of mental misstep I think there is enough ways to shut down 1 drops so you can play 2+drops. Without further ado:

This is a rough draft. The idea is being able to play CotV while having early drops still. Mental Misstep is dead when you have Cotv, but they are not going to be playing 1 drops then! Daze can be used T1 if needed, but isn't countered with a cotv in play. Ancestral visions can be played on t1, and can resolve under Cotv. Even Flusterstorm isn't dead under Cotv because the copies still resolve! So what do you think? Is it too novel? I do miss playing brainstorm. I feel like Jitte and Edict are flex spots that can be changed. The things I am worried about are decks like merfolk. At the moment, there is no very good plan to beat them, what is the plan versus green decks main? Maybe some steal effects could be good.
