Emracus - Emrakul with Locus lands!

// Lands
1 [WWK] Eye of Ugin
1 [ZEN] Forest (1a)
3 [A] Tropical Island
1 [ON] Flooded Strand
1 [ZEN] Island (3)
4 [SOM] Glimmerpost
4 [FNM] Cloudpost
4 [TSP] Vesuva
4 [ZEN] Misty Rainforest
1 [ON] Polluted Delta

// Creatures
4 [ROE] Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
2 [SOM] Trinket Mage

// Spells
4 [ROE] All Is Dust
4 [SC] Stifle
3 [AQ] Candelabra of Tawnos
3 [ZEN] Expedition Map
4 [WWK] Explore
2 [M10] Pithing Needle
2 [CHK] Sensei's Divining Top
4 [FNM] Thirst for Knowledge
4 [UL] Crop Rotation

You get mana quickly to hardcast Emrakul. Haven't done any extensive testing but I think turn 5-6 Emrakul should be average.

Stifle is there for disruption, Wasteland and all sorts of nasty things as well as to protect Emrakul once he is out.

You have Pithing Needle to name Wasteland when you are worried about that on top of being a versatile card that can shut down lots of things.

Crop Rotation + Expedition Map coupled with Eye of Ugin means you can always get Emrakul in your hand once you have the mana to cast it. Crop Rotation and Expedition Map are of course often used to fetch for enough Cloudpost effects.

Thoughts on improvements are more then welcome!

Some things i've noticed so far:

I'm not sure how great Explore is. It does allow the deck to combo alot faster in some games and since the deck is sort of slow this might be needed. Let me know if you think Explore is a nice include or if there is better options out there!

Played a match where I could create a loop to get infinite turns with Emrakul's CiP trigger. This was done using 13 + 7 mana playing Emrakul with Eye of Uging out and then using EoU to fetch for another Emrakul. Then using the extra turn to attack with Emrakul and afterwards play a second Emrakul to get another extra turn, this resulting in both Emrakul's going to the GY and thus you shuffle your GY into your library, before taking the next turn you use EoU once again to fetch a new Emrakul and then play this the following turn and the turn after that you swing for the win :)

Pretty cool if you ask me ^^

There's a thread existing ... nothing new here, but I've seen modern lists that work better than this.

Double emrakul (as double posting ;D) is well-explored too as a recycle trick, but pointless. Hard casted Emrakul near always wins on it's own. You'll never turn 4 the Spaghetti monster with this deck. No Way you have more than 12 mana at this point. Landdestruction kills the deck anyways.

Oh so there was a thread already... My name for the deck is cooler though :D

You won't turn 4 Emrakul on a regular basis I have realised that but you should be able to once in a while. 3 Cloudpost + 1 Candelabra equals 15 mana...

You have plenty of ways to dodge land destruction in Stifle + Needle taking care of Wasteland and there is also other cards like Teferi's Response that could be played both MD and in SB.

The general problem is: drop Posts to accelerate or drop basics to dodge hate. I ignore random landdestruction in modern unless i play against pure LD. Don't run Blue, green accelerates and dig more posts via sylvan scrying, Green sun's zenith, primeval titan and reap&sow.
