Threads of Disloyalty

If I use a threads of disloyalty on a creature with an equipment, do i keep the equipment as well?

The equipment stays on the creature but you do not "steal" it. Its controller can equip it do different creatures as usual.

So if the creature is carrying a Jitte, your opponent will be able to use the counters, even though you control the creature it is equipped to. Threads isn't too bad with the Swords of X and Y cycle. Your creatures still gets the +2/+2 and protection bonuses. If you deal damage to an opponent with such a sword when he/she controls the sword, the triggers will do some interesting things. Both "you" and "that player" will refer to the opponent.
