Okay, I used the search function to see if something like this exists, but I didn't see anything. The deck itself doesn't have new ideas, but I also don't think they've been put together in this way before. If it has, point me to tbe thread, my bad.
So I'm a big fan of Emrakul. Thought I had a good idea with Grim Monolith and Power Artifact, but it's too clunky. I converted to a Sneak Show kind of build and love it. But, control is my favorite type of play so I thought i'd try to make something work in a Countertop shell. It especially makes sense given that so many of the cards are already useful with the original build of Sneak Show.
4 Emrakul
4 Show and Tell
2 Jace, the Mind Sculptor
4 Counterbalance
4 Sensei's Divining Top
4 Force of Will
3 Mental Misstep
2 Spell Pierce
4 Brainstorm
3 Intuition
4 Swords to Plowshares
3 Oblivion Ring
4 Flooded Strand
4 Plains
4 Ancient Tomb
7 Island
As I said, nothing too original. But I feel that the addition of the Countertop adds more stability, and the Jace 2.0 adds another wincon. First plan is obviously SnT with Emrakul, but the splash of W allows for removal of problem children. SnT will also work with anything else you want to toss in, though Emrakul is strongest by default, especially with the counter suite and spot removal/disruption. Input is always appreciated.
