Didn't see this posted anywhere. Apologies if I missed it.

Main change that could pertain to Legacy:
Phyrexian Devourer
This card apparently was intended to never have power greater than 7. Unfortunately, the printed wording didn't quite accomplish this, opening a window to respond to what's now a triggered ability. There was errata on this card for some time that closed this window, but there's really no good reason to keep that, so we're returning that aspect of the card to its printed wording. We talked about the change to use +1/+1 counters but concluded that the reasons for that change are still valid.
New Phyrexian Devourer wording
When Phyrexian Devourer's power is 7 or greater, sacrifice it.
Exile the top card of your library: Put X +1/+1 counters on Phyrexian Devourer, where X is the exiled card's converted mana cost.
Not a huge deal, but Necrotic Ooze no longer has to be sacrificed when its power is 7+.

Good news, now Buried Ooze does not need to reveal 90% library to win.

More like players don't have to get the judge called every time they play Ooze combo. I always hated explaining that one to people.
Thought Lash has a little change on it also. You can't donate it with Zedru in EDH anymore after not paying the Cumulative upkeep. Probably a good thing, that was pretty dirty. Though it did accidentally nail one of my latest creations for Legacy on accident. Bah.

So, does that color indicator thing do anything strange with Painter's Servant? (The combo with Grindstone will clearly still work.)
...Hmm... If I Fork a Ghostly Flame can my opponent use Circle of Protection: Red to prevent the damage?

Does this mean I can now fling my Phrexian Devourer with it's sacrifice trigger on the stack? Sick combo! Well mostly just hilarious.

There is no Sacrifice trigger now. Ooze does not copy it. The sick combo goes with Triskelin.

Ooze combo now works on my Commander deck... great!

I was referring to if I actually had the Devourer out.

Right, they removed the last line and returned to the wording based on what's printed on the card except remove from the game = exile.
edit - with Mental Misstep gone and with this update I think this combo can be taken seriously. Too bad I already sold a bunch of my Devourers at $1.50 except for 1.

It pretty much worked the same as is under the old wording, you just had to respond to anything that would kill it by exiling the next card and continuing with everything on the stack and never let the ones that would kill it resolve. Only resolve the ones you can get away with.

Now you can combo phyrexian devourer with fling and you don't even need to use the ooze. You can grow it to any size and then fling it in response to the sacrifice trigger. Of course, the devourer costs 2 more than the ooze anyway, so I'm not sure the combo actually got easier to pull off.

Not the world's worst backup plan though, since it works vs. graveyard hate. This also opens up the possibility of Skill Borrower+Congregation at Dawn abuse.
In my wildest dreams, I could not have imagined Devourer ever being worth a crap. Legacy is so cool.

My circle knew it would be breakable sooner or later. Just like it's contemporary Lion's Eye Diamond.

Now I don't lose to myself on MTGO. Also if for some reason you need to swing with Ooze because Trisk doesn't work for some reason, there's also that, I guess.

@rufus: Can you explain me the Skill Borrower + Congregation at Dawn Combo?
Once you've put Skill Borrower, Devourer and Triskelion on top of your library and play Skill Borrower, you can only once remove the top card of your library to add 6 counters and then deal 6 damage with Triskelion on top but that's not a great combo...

I'm not sure at all, but the Congregation pile should be Devourer, Emrakul and Triskelion. Meaning you already have SB in hand. You play SB activate it twice with devourer's ability. You've got 21 counters on it, then you activate it with Triskelion's ability twenty-one times FTW.

Can someone say Doomsday pile?!?!

That wouldn't work since you remove the Devourer when you use the ability. For SB+Congregation. You've got to do something silly like Phyrexian Devourer, Phyrexian Devourer, Jodah's Avenger. Doomsday pile is quite clever, though it is vulnerable to instant speed creature removal.

Doosmday making a pile of: Skill Borrower, Phyrexian Devourer, Emrakul, Skarrgan Skybreaker, blank
Teched? Yeah for playing bad cards.

Again, doesn't work. Only DD pile that I can think of that would work is
SB in hand, 4x Devouerer 1x Triskelion.

Or you could run Goblin Welder with trike/devourer in the deck with a blue Intuition or Thirst for Knowledge engine. Or say if you have ooze in play, cast an Intuition, grab Trike/Devourer/Psychatog and giggle? Seems to be in strong colors.

Borrowerer, Devourer, Devourer, Scion of the Ur-Dragon, Hellkite Overlord swings for 20. Still terrible.
