Rule 104.2d says "104.2d In an Emperor game, a team wins the game if its emperor wins the game. (See rule 809.5.)"
809.5a A team wins the game if its emperor wins.

However, Rule 104.3h says "104.3h In a multiplayer game, an effect that states that a player wins the game instead causes all of
that player’s opponents to lose the game. (This may not cause the game to end if the limited
range of influence option is being used; see rule 801.)"

"801.1. Limited range of influence is an option that can be applied to most multiplayer games. It’s
always used in the Emperor variant (see rule 809), and it’s often used for games involving five or
more players."

"809.3a The range of influence is limited to 2 for emperors and 1 for generals. See rule 801,
“Limited Range of Influence Option.”"

What is going on?!?!!?

I suspect that when they say effect they mean card effects such as helix pinnacle that say you win the game. Otherwise it's kinda awkard if you were to win but the rest of your team doesn't.

Edit: I'm probably wrong.

But 104.3h says instead of winning the opponents in range loose...which may not make the other emperor loose. So wouldn't he/she have to "win" twice, the 1st time killing the other opponents and the second time killing the other emperor (which would result in the Emperor winning and then in his/her team winning)?

You may totally be right. I was just wondering...
