Pat McGregor writes here about the financial aspects of MODO and how it differentiates from playing/trading/selling paper Magic.

He also notes that Legacy is essentially a casual format in the MODO world regarding finances. What do you guys think about that? I haven't played much non-draft MODO, especially Legacy, and I'd be interested in hearing more on this.

Good article that explains the intricacies of online Trading.

I would like to add that the cyclical Modern/Extended surge happens every year without fail. It's very easy to turn a profit on the cycle by buying into the power cards early and selling during the first few weeks of the PTQs.
