Hi everyone, I was wondering about solitary confinement: how his protection effect starts? the turn is being cast, or only at your next upkeep?
and, with an enchantress effect in play when I cast sterling grove, may I sacrifice it and search for an enchantment card to put on top of the deck BEFORE i have to draw from the enchantress effect from playing said sterling grove?

Solitary Confinement's effect starts as soon as it enters the battlefield.

No, because Enchantress effects trigger when an Enchantment is played, so Sterling Grove is still on the stack when the Enchantress effect triggers and goes on the stack, so you'll draw a card, then Grove will resolve, then you can use Grove once it resolves.
Note, this is assuming you're getting cards off of Argothian Enchantress or Enchantress's Presence, which trigger when an Enchantment is played. If you had some effect that was letting you draw a card when an enchantment enters the battlefield, then you could use Grove as you described above.

Technically, the correct wording since M2010 is the following:
Whenever you cast an enchantment spell, draw a card.
When you cast the Sterling Grove, you draw a card. Sterling Grove isn't on the battlefield yet, so you can't use its ability.
