Mark played Big Zoo. I really like Scavenging Ooze, as it can grow bigger than Goyf in many matchups. I accidentally tested it when I played it over a 4th Goyf (for I couldn't gather one up) in a tourney once, and was happily surprised by it.

Thoughts on his list? Seems good combating Snapcasters.

I likely only made Top 8 because Drew Levin kept a one land hand on the play (on camera) and never played one against me in Round 8.

A true pro keeps a 1-land hand in Standard Top 8 on the play because the pro will tutor for the card he needs every turn.

I think his mixed love for KotR has to do with the decks he's played against. I would agree that sometimes Knights seem weak, but in a deck like Big Zoo, what else can you really replace them with that fetches the value that Knights provide? Having Hierarch into KotR almost feels like cheating (without Hierarch, I agree KotR is often too slow and doesn't make the impact).

Thats why im surprised he didnt use 4x zenith + arbor to have consistant turn 2 knight. Elspeths seems good when your opponent plays bunch of removal + wraths.
