So, for funzies I decided it would be amusing to make a permission deck that wasn't permission; Namely, you can cast anything you'd like, at any time...

...Provided you can.

Here's what I drew up on Cockatrice:

Lockdown:
4 Nevermore
4 Copy Enchantment
4 Meddling Mage
4 Orim's Chant

Utility doods/More Meddling Mages
4 Phantasmal Image
4 Phyrexian Metamorph
4 Cackling Counterpart

Peek
4 Gitaxian Probe
4 Peek
4 Spy Network

Lands
4 Tundra
4 Hallowed Fountain
4 Island
4 Plains
4 Flooded Strand

My testing vs other casual decks just leads to funny lock outs as I start denying all spells they have in hand one by one, and filtering through their turns with the peek spells and Orim's Chant leads to a hard stall once they have to start discarding due to a full hand. I was thinking about adding removal as well, as Meddling Mage is a pretty weak win con, but immensely satisfying. Any thoughts?

Telepathy. Seriously this deck wants that crappy little enchantment so hard it hurts

Where is Declaration of Naught???

I would also play Extract and Cranial Extraction and Memoricide over Telepathy. Seeing an open hand of unplayable card isn't better than seeing their whole deck and naming the dangerous cards.

Pretty awesome casual deck :D Now my casual challenge project is to make a deck that sets up an infinite-shuffle loop for my opponent's deck lol.

A Bitter Ordeal with stormcount 30 is pretty exhausting...
But if you just want to be a pain:

Soldier of Fortune + Wirewood Channeler + Wirewood Channeler + Wirewood Channeler + Aggravated Assault

Ofcourse, this is just casual... so I'd go with another annoyance instead:

Wirewood Channeler + Llanowar Elves +Pemmin's Aura + Sky Swallower + Knight of the Hokey Pokey + Mindslaver

You can ofcourse just use a card like Stroke of Genius to draw your deck once you've accumulated the infinite mana engine. That should make it easier to find the other pieces.

Now as for the actual thread: Exclusion Ritual ?

Don't mind me, I'm just too lazy to look them all up myself.

So funny to see this here as I am working on the same project for the most part.

I already picked up 4 x Beta Glasses of Urza.

Problems: Not drawing or resolving an initial meddling mage. Resolved spells.

I'm including Surgical Extractions in the main since with peek effects it is really easy to nail cards in their hand.

I'll let you know what I come up with when I test it but I'm trying to actually make my list decent so I can't justify cards like nevermore, declaration of naught, exclusion ritual and voidstone gargoyle due to CMC.

Cards like remand and memory lapse might be decent along with bounce due to bounce->name that card. Helps against resolved stuff.

Only annoying thing is that aether vial doesn't really work well with half of the clones. After getting knowledge, you want to get a meddling mage resolved and naming it, as soon as possible.

Fun!

[Edit] Oh yeah, here's something silly I thought of back in Mirrodin when I was thinking about this originally ;)
meddling mage + mana echoes + soul foundry + intruder alarm + animate artifact.
Just name every card in the gatherer database.
