Incidentally, the sandwich hasn't evolved much over the last...4 years? The only differences between what it is now and what it was before is the different chicken, spinach leaves, and NO BACON. WHAT THE HELL. You dropped the ball there Bryant. Bacon was the cornerstone of the original sub. Omitting it is a serious mistake.

I always have gone Chipotle + Honey Mustard, but am considering the addition of hot sauce. Ranch is too masking of the hot sauce, though it does go nicely with some hot sauces (like buffalo wing sauce). I also usually just go plain spinach over lettuce at all, but I really do enjoy the taste of raw spinach, which I know a lot of people don't.

How has that double Ad Nauseam been doing for you? I mean it's really great having it in opening hand, but that's still only two copies.. which is not the number that makes me any more comfortable then having only 1 copy. If i wanted consistency I'd play 4, but we know that won't work.

Also, without the IGG main and presuming Ad nauseam is not an option, how do you make your Tendrils lethal? Do you provoke counterspell battle to add to the storm count? Emptying your hand (godforbid a hymn or two) is not always storm count 7-8-9. Wishing for the I.g. gains requieres a tendrils or tutor in grave, which again.. it's not that easy. Without the IGG loop I always find that I'm one or two storm counts short.

I don't agree with your actions in round one, it feels a bit Mike Long-ish to bluff an opponent out of a game that you can't really win (if that is my correct interpretation of the situation). Still, Magic is Magic, and I'm not about to get up on my high horse and lecture an obviously better player and writer on how to do these things ;)

Double Ad Nauseam is fantastic because it allows for more consistency. It's great against the Stifle/Snare decks too because now the deck is less reliant on Infernal Tutor/Burning Wish.

Ill-Gotten Gains is terrible maindeck, it's often a dead draw. The deck runs additional storm engines in the sideboard for Burning Wish if necessary.

I heard a story a while back about a kid who was playing Dragonstorm back when it was in standard. He managed to top 8 in a PTQ without actually having any dragons in his deck.
