I've been debating this myself. Do many sourcers subscribe?

No one can tell you whether it will be worth it to you.
To the individual, it will vary.
For example, I only play Legacy. Immediately, a large percentage of the articles don't apply to me. Also, any newest tech can be discovered elsewhere or on forums. The rest can wait until it becomes available to non-premium members. Since Legacy (typically) shifts more slowly than standard, the delay in accessin the information isn't a big deal.
Not worth it to me, but I have thought about subscribing for "donation" purposes since I am thankful for this company and all that they have done to support the growth of the format I play within my favorite game.

I subscribe because I want to pass the time at work, and sometimes I don't want to watch lsv run the gauntlet anymore.
For legacy players it's too expensive. Drew levin's articles are really just page one post one of any dtb or established decks on this forum. Decklist, outline, matchups. Very formulaic.
Ari lax writes stuff that you find for free after registering on the storm boards.
GerryT is really the only one who keeps me coming back, but with the new gerrytv, I dono anymore.
I like mike flores' writing style, but its not legacy.
Overpriced for just legacy, imo.

If you only play Legacy, don't bother. It's more about standard than anything else. It's fairly good stuff for the most part, but not unless you play standard regularly.

Only worth it for Limited info or standard. Only good for passing the time at work. I also think Channel/Fireball's stuff is better anyway.
I think it's worth it from a Legacy/financial standpoint. Most of the content is Standard and Limited, but there's usually four or so articles I find worth reading per week. Even if you don't like the Legacy content, Pat Chapin and Mike Flores write some pretty great general strategy articles once in a while.
It comes out to a little over $.10 per day.

ChannelFireball's content is excellent and its all free. I plan on supporting their store for the foreseeable future just so they can keep producing free content like that.

If you really cared about the premium articles, you can just wait a month and find them in the archives.

I enjoy Premium content, but then again I play Standard the most, with EDH second. Because Standard changes so quickly, every week, I think the Premium content is worth accessing ASAP. If you play mostly Legacy and/or only read it for leisure because you don't care about Standard much, you might be better off waiting until it's in the archives. Waiting 2 months until it's archived, when you play Standard, might not be the best idea, though. Two months is a long time in Standard and the material will be irrelevant, largely, after the metagame shifts by then.
Although the metagame articles provide great information, there are times when I find the theorycrafting and story-based articles much more entertaining. It's a mixed bag that changes often. If you're unsure of whether or not its worth it, I wouldn't buy a month at a time to "test it out", because it's so much cheaper (on a per-month basis) just buying a year and forgetting about it.
