How will this card impact Standard with Snapcaster Mage, Think Twice, Desperate Ravings, Ponder?
What about Extended/Modern with Pyromancer's Ascension?

Will this card see Legacy play?

I know it turns it three colour, but would Reanimator play this over a Ponder Type effect? I have read many people wishing for Careful Study 4-8.

Seems absolutely fantastic in a traditional LED Dredge shell. It's arguable whether it's better than Desperate Ravings in Manaless, though I think Ravings is probably still superior. As for LED-less builds, it wouldn't necessarily warrant a slot, but could prove to.

Desperate Ravings is an instant. If you're going off turn one against, say, Belcher, all Street Wraiths and Gitaxian Probes will have to resolve before this, meaning if one of them brick, the rest of the draw chain will brick as well (unless you draw an LED or had three-plus draw effects and binned a Phantasmagorian).

I honestly don't think I'd want it in Reanimator. I might consider it, but you're really messing up the manabase to play a single red card. Sure that ability is awesome in that deck, but I don't think I'd go as far as making myself vulnerable to wastelands just to get it. I like my basics.

Now, if we ditched blue to run this in a wholly different direction, you lose more than you gain. I can't picture using it, at least not in reanimator.

Though I am sure there are plenty of uses. That's a slick ability in the same color as Squee and a few really good madness cards no less. Maybe something in that area.

In standard, yes. Definitely. I'd kill for that in my Burning Vengeance deck. I already hate blue in there as is. I'd love to go two color.

Comic book promo I guess. Dack Fayden was also on Treasure Hunt on #1 of them so I expect this to come with #3.

Great that in Europe those comics are basically Not available. WotC shits on Europe again after the fact that 50% of all GP/PT are in the US (Planeswalker points multipier!).

The US players get more points, more spots in invitational events because of that, more Judge Promos because of all these events and now more unique cards only available there. Congrats!

I'd say uncommon. Its pretty similar to Desperate Ravings which is also uncommon.

This is not that great in Reanimator. I find it hard to splash for this. On the other hand, dredge will love this. I think I'm going to replace my Tireless Tribes with this beauty.
