Best looking swamps?

I've decided for Christmas, I am getting myself a "pimped out" magic deck. The deck I have chosen to waste some money on is called the Nightmare Effect (http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=231984). I've always had a soft spot for mono black decks. :)

I've pretty much decided what version of each card I want to get, except for the basic swamps. That's where you guys come in! I need help picking (mainly because I am lazy). I need twenty-two swamps total, all with different art. Suggest any and as many as you like. The only thing I want to stay away from is cards with alterations done to them.

You must at least get the two Alpha swamps (and the 3rd original picture in Beta). I guess the Guru and APAC are pretty nice, too. Then just pick the ones you like. (I've got my favorites, but I'm not telling, except for the Alpha ones). Foil if you have to (but I advise against it because foils suck).

Agreed. Portal lands aren't pimp but they sure are pretty, and that can count even more.

Urza's block has all my favorite land, especially if you get them foil. I prefer having the full ability text printed on the land rather than the big symbol. Also, the fact that they're all panoramas helps.

Thanks to death for posting those APAC/Euro lands. I always forget that those exist, but they look pretty awesome. I might have to pick some up.

I like the Ravnica and Mirage swamps particularly. Kamigawa block is probably third generally for basic lands. I think a lot of the rarer lands are over-rated and valued simply for rarity over aesthetics, but to each their own. The Rob Alexander arena swamp is pretty sweet though.

This one. The whole card is darker than most magic cards.

Also, quite partial to the flower one from onslaught. That pic was reprinted in eighth edition, so you can get it with the new card face.

but just incase, that swamp is special because there were no foils in Saga, this was some sort of promotion or reward, they are scarce, and are worth 3-5$ I think. I like almost all urza's block basics haha

Haha, I bought foil saga mountains for a similar price. I knew that they were quite hard to find, and I was surprised to see them for cheap. Only one store had them; I wonder if it was the same place.
