Question: Is there a database that would show all languages a card was printed in?

Subquestion: Was Entomb (ODY) printed in korean?

Thanks.

I think at magiccards.info there is a list of every language of each card. As far as i know Entomb isn't available in korean since they stopped after Urza Block or so.

You can also just click the languages tab when you use Gatherer. Little easier, but I have heard it's not complete on some things. No clue on how true that is.

Very true.

For example go force of will -> languages = nada
or mana drain...or bayou.

And we obviously all know that there are non english versions of all those cards.

I suspect that older editions just are not up to date with non english versions but I don't know when the cut off for that is.

Pernicious deed has other languages listed but doomsday does not, so somewhere in that area of time.

http://magiccards.info shows which languages the card was printed in, but may not have an scan uploaded.

no, Korean run is Visions-Urza's Saga

subquestion - what is the plan with future Korean releases? is M12 just a test or will there be Korean Innistrad and so on? and if we discussed Entomb, what about korean Graveborn?

Korean is supposed to be a full language for future expansion sets. I think the promo sets (Premium, Duel decks, EDH, etc) have their own schedules. Check the product page for the specific item.

The Premium Deck Series I believe had been stated is english only (fire and lightning and slivers were both english only) and on Twitter I recall Forsythe saying that part of the reason Animate Dead was in Graveborn was because it was an english only print, as the text wouldn't fit in other languages.

As for other sets, as stated above, Korean is supposed to be a full language starting with the delayed M12 and carrying through to Innistrad and beyond. The releases will be slower than the regular printings, so it seems, however.

Thanks for all the responses.

magiccards.info

and

magiclibrarities.net

are both good sites and what I was looking for. Gatherer, not so much. Gatherer is definitely not complete, at least concerning languages.

There are some mistakes there though. Like Russian Coldsnap which doesn't really exist.

magiccards.info has a lot of fan-submitted translations that aren't actually in print, and to the best of my knowledge, there isn't really a way to tell what's what. It also doesn't seem to show Korean for anything, so it's not really a dependable source for this information at all.

Hardly any high quality Korean scans. Just junk images from eBay.
