Hey guys, I ran into a problem today on MTGO.
It's about Phantasmagorian, though the problem lies not in the rules but in my ability to work with MTGO.
Is there a possibility that you use the effect, discard 3 to pay costs and in response activate the ability again just like in real life?Somehow that doesn't work for me.
If this is in the wrong section, please forgive me.
MTGO is not like the real game. In the real game, you retain priority until you explicitly pass it to your opponent(s).
MTGO has created a shortcut that automatically gives your opponent priority after you play any effect.
You can override this by holding down the CTRL key when playing a spell or an effect.

Good to know. Thank you for the quick answer!

Not when activating an ability or casting a spell. You have to explicitly retain priority to crack LED in response to infernal tutor for example.
