Yupp. From time to time I feel like writing something about Magic so I thought it might be cool to have a blog. We'll see! I published my first post a few minutes ago, you can check it out here:

I'm talking about the storm combo deck I posted here a few days ago, this is pretty much a primer for the deck. Enjoy!
By the way, I don't know anything about making it look good, so it looks a bit lame. Whatever, it's about the content anyway.

That's an interesting decklist. I look forward to seeing more posts in the future!

I only have a couple of minutes, but I glanced at the decklist and read the matchup analysis, and I concur that it looks interesting to say the least.
Some more matchup analyses might be needed, you've covered the Tempo decks, and the most common deck, but how does the PiF-deck compare to TES or ANT? What are those matchups like? Combo is overall rather common at least here in Sweden, so I'd like some more input here.
Oterwise, good job! Oh, and the blog looks fine to me, I haven't used Wordpress in years, but I imagine that they have a nice editor tool to do all the HTML coding for you if you want to spruce things up :)

I'm not too sure about the storm matchups so far, as I didn't test the matchups and only faced TES in a tournament once. I think I won that game 2-0. The Reanimator matchup seems to be really good, with Extirpate coming in from the board.
The major advantage Grinding Station has in the combo matchups is that you basically get to cast all your spells twice so you can really grind it out and disrupt them hard. You play quite the control game but you can always just win out of nowhere.
In other news, I finished 7-0 in Iserlohn, Germany yesterday and if I remember correctly, I only lost two games the whole day. I'm going to post a detailed report on my blog on Friday.
And by the way, I know nothing about html so even if you can do these things there, that doesn't help since I don't know how that stuff works.

Good read so far.
Keep innovating ;).

Thanks for taking the time to write more about the deck. I like the design.
Haven't been able to get out and play any games, but I've been goldfishing it some.
To me it has a similar feel to a QSI style list I used to play. Games were usually won via a couple mini-tendrils.
Grinding Station appears more consistent so far. Nice work!

Here's my next article, a tournament report from last Sunday: Being On Fire: 7-0 with Grinding Station (http://theweeklywars.wordpress.com/2011/12/09/being-on-fire-7-0-with-grinding-station/)
Enjoy!

Congratz on your finish.
Nice to see some input.
Legacy is a somewhat cultural wasteland right now (well, thats at least what it looked like to me the last tourneys).
Nice to see someone not only working on that part, but also showing great results with it.

This is the rest of the game: Brainstorm, landdrop, Lotus Petal, Dark Ritual (Daze), Rain Of Filth, Cabal Ritual, Tendrils of Agony for 16. Note that if he had drawn a single Force Of Will off Jin-Gitaxias, I still would’ve won the game even if he also had drawn the second land before, so it’s certainly not me being super lucky here (though I actually was a bit lucky).
I think Force would actually have done the job. What am I missing?
Land (already in play), Brainstorm.
Play Land, Lotus Petal, - 2 mana available.
Dark Ritual, - Force of Will it - 1 mana available.
Rain of Filth, sac 2 lands - 2 mana available.
Cabal Ritual (presumably with Threshold) - Daze it, can't pay.
I'm no expert on Storm, just wondering how to play around Daze + Force in this scenario. Although, i have to admit, I would have definitely daze'd the Brainstorm in the first place.

I don't remember if I needed to cast the Brainstorm. If I didn't need to I would have won through Force and Daze, but if he had only drawn a single Force (and no Daze) I would've won. I should've been more clear I guess. Wrote that thing while I was in school.

Would you write a primer for this thing? I tested it 2 rounds for the first time without even goldfishing, won 2-1 versus ANT (lol) and 2-1 versus U/R Delver. In one of the games against ANT, he went Ponder go. On my first turn, I stormed up 12 goblins. Against U/R Delver I won 2 games by casting double Tendrils (lol who needs Storm 9). This deck is hilarious, what I like about it is that it's not life total dependent like ANT and it can bypass Spell Snare. Like what you said in your report, you can afford to sit back while playing it.
edit: OK, saw the primer. Might be better if you paste the contents in the OP.
