Hey guys. I had the crazy idea for this deck after playing B/U Infect for a while. Figured I'd come on here and post it to see what everyone thought.

I was considering running Thoughseize instead of Cabal Therapy. I might also run 2-3 basic land to avoid things like Wasteland and other things that target nonbasic land.

Main idea of the deck though is to have enough control in to get going good and then buff a creature enough for 10 poison counters or swarm the field. The focus creature is, of course, Phyrexian Crusader, but Blighted Agent works just as well. Like I said up top, I figured I'd post this here just to see what people thought and what feed back I can get. I'll even accept "This deck is crap and you should scrap the idea" :laugh:

Some quick thoughts:

Overall, you run too few blue cards to support FoW (only 13, whereas the minimum I would ever run is 18-20).

Vines of Vastwood is really mana-intense, sure it can save a dude, but I don't think I would've played even a single VoV before maxing out on Might of Old Krosa.

Maindeck Extirpate and Chain of Vapor is weird to me, I'd cut both for more blue cards and more pump. Also, is there a certain reason you're not playing Inkmoth Nexus?

Do you have some recommendations for blue cards you would run that go well with infect? I thought of Distortion Strike, but I wouldn't want to pitch it for FoW half the time. I supposed I could main board Daze instead since the deck isn't needing more than 3-4 mana at any given point.

I put in Vines for the saving part more so than the buff. If I cut them, it would be so I could put in Apostle's Blessing, which gives actual protection and could make something unblockable.

I do like Might of Old Krosa, but at the time of construction I didn't know where to fit it in lol.

I could side both the Chain of Vapor and Extirpate, but I like the control aspect of the deck...so I'd almost want something to take their place for control. If I do throw more pump in, I'd want to find more things that essentially say "Do this instead of paying the mana cost." The only card that wouldn't do it would be Might of Old Krosa. By doing that I leave mana open for counters or even Chain of Vapor since it's an instant.

As far as Inkmoth goes, I'd almost feel as if it would slow the deck down a bit. While it does turn into a creature and has the potential to be deadly, it produces a colorless mana, so first turn or second turn I can't really do anything with it. Plus its a HUGE target for removal...then I'm down a land and creature.

Thanks for the input :) This deck is far from being done. I'll take what you said into consideration and work on it a little bit.

I would replace 2 Underground Sea with Bayou. Didnt the manabase as it is make problems?

If u need blue cards, i heard Gitaxian Probe is nice to have, either to see if u can "go off" or to pitch to force, else it will just recycle for 2 life or U.

Also if u can afford them, Berserks are quite nice, though its an all in card. In most situations it is better than another +4+4.
